Join us for a high-level seminar in the European Parliament on 16 February, 2016 to discuss ways in which the EU ETS can accelerate investment in deep investment clean energy systems particularly energy savings and renewables.

Both the temporary free allocation to power companies and the Modernisation Fund are critical aspects of the EU ETS reform. They provide a unique opportunity to radically shift the entire energy system of poorer EU Member States and accelerate their development so that they are able to catch up to the living standards of other EU countries.
